Honkai: Star Rail has a lot of secrets that need to be solved.
The game designer miHoYo is known for making worlds that are very interesting, adding interesting characters to them, and then putting the two together to make stories that are much better than what most people expect from gacha games. It’s also known for using a writing technique that isn’t used very often: not giving away all the answers right away, or sometimes ever.
There is a lot more interest in a world and its stories when there is mystery and drama than when all the answers are given right away. This works really well for Honkai: Star Rail. These are some of the most interesting secrets you can find in Honkai: Star Rail but still don’t know the answers to.
Trotters
Trotters are cute space creatures that look like pigs and are hard to understand. In the game, these cute animals are described as having a taste that is both sweet and not edible. This is a strange detail that makes me wonder how these two pieces of information that contradict each other were found.
Even stranger, Trotters start to solve astronomical equations about black holes when they are scared. Don’t think these are just lines on your screen; they’re real equations, like the Schwarzschild radius. When they’re done, the Trotter opens a door and disappears. How do space pigs do things that are so hard to explain? What’s with them always teleporting into battle with you? How sweet do they really taste? Honkai: Star Rail should let you know.
Sampo Koski
This book is about a rogue-for-hire who will do anything for money, and the reader can either like or dislike them. He was introduced during the Jarilo-VI storyline and, based on your point of view, either helps or hurts the Trailblazer. He often disappears without a trace and always seems to have what you need to keep himself useful.
Near the end of this part of the game, the Trailblazer dreams that Sampo is talking to an unknown person. It seems very likely that Sampo is not from Jarilo-VI, which is shocking because the Astral Express team is the first group to visit the planet in hundreds of years. Besides that, the discussion gives hints that Sampo is a member of the Masked Fools, a group devoted to the Aeon Aha. We don’t know for sure who Sampo Koski is, so we’re left to wonder.
March 7th
March 7th is the mascot for Honkai: Star Rail, so no one knows anything about her past. She was found floating through space frozen in a block of endless ice. She chose to name herself after the date she was found because she had no memories at all after she thawed out.
With not much to go on, the ideas are as different as they come. Some people think she might be a lost Aeon or that the Aeon of Remembrance Fuli locked her up. One thing to think about is that her form looks a lot like the Genshin Impact currencies Primogem and Intertwined Fate. This has led to the idea that she was a character meant to be in the world of Genshin Impact who got lost along the way. Who knows what will happen in the Hoyoverse?
Akivili
Akivili, the Aeon of Trailblaze, was the first person to own the Astral Express. Even though the main characters are taking their Path as a Trailblazer, not much is known about Akivili because they are missing and thought to be dead from before the game’s events. Something we do know for sure is that they were in some kind of crash.
There is some disagreement about whether Akivili is really dead or not. Some people think that the main character is actually Akivili reborn. It’s also possible that March 7th is the long-lost Aeon. Of course, March 7th’s past is so vague that anything is possible. Isn’t that what the Path of Trailblaze is all about?
Pom-Pom
As of March 7, Pom-Pom is the second mascot of Honkai: Star Rail and the driver of the Astral Express. Pom-Pom is a small animal that looks like a bunny. It can’t get off the train, but it is said to be a great swordsman who could teach Yanqing new moves.
How does Pom-Pom get so good with a sword when he never gets off the train and no one fights with a sword to teach him? Did the Akivili teach him, or is he a piece of the Akivili that got lost? He seems really scary to Yanqing. You might want to be more careful about leaving stains near the Astral Express.
Tayzzyronth The Propagation
Another interesting Aeon in Honkai: Star Rails was Tayzzyronth, who was known as the Imperator Insectorum and was made up of a swarm of self-copying insects because he was lonely. We don’t know much about Tayzzyronth, but we do know that they were an Aeon that didn’t last long, helped Nanook become the Aeon of Destruction, and were killed by a group of other Aeons.
The story of Tunnel Rush is built around the idea of how to kill an Aeon, which makes the questions about Tayzzyronth even more interesting. How did they kill him? Which Aeons worked together to do it? We also can’t be sure for sure that Tayzzyronth is dead. You should be ready for the Swarm Disaster in the future if even one of their insect-selves was able to get away.
Madame Herta
We know quite a bit about one of the characters in Honkai: Star Rail. She is an Emanator of Nous the Erudition, a member of the Genius Society, and a co-creator of the Simulated Universe. Her honors and titles are as many as the puppet bodies she controls from afar to do daily chores and even fight.
Even though the Trailblazers have talked to Herta a lot, her true self is still a secret. She says the puppet bodies she uses make her look 70% like she did when she was a child, but 30% is a big change. Being in a sci-fi setting makes it very likely that Herta is not even human and no longer has a body of her own.
Vache Harrower
Vache Harrower is Natasha’s adopted brother. He is a doctor in the Underworld and the real boss of Wildfire. Through her companion tasks, you can learn that Vache was also a doctor who was obsessed with finding a way to protect the people of Belobog from the cold that was destroying their world. In order to do this, he used fake illnesses to test on patients, which helped his study without actually helping the patients get better.
Vache was sent away because of his crimes and lived in the frozen wastes outside of the city. There, he finally made a safe version of his medicine and gave it to the Silvermane Guards on a regular basis. He hasn’t been seen or heard from since, and he is thought to be dead. But he doesn’t have any proof because there is no body, does he? Could Vache still be out there making up more crazy science?
Elio
Elio is the founder and leader of the Stellaron Hunters. He says he can see into the future and writes plans for his fellow hunters to follow to make sure the future they want happens. We don’t know much else about this important person besides this.
Players have been quick to point out that a housecat is in almost all artwork of the Stellaron Hunters, especially Kafka’s. Is this cat really a member of the Stellaron Hunters? Could it even be Elio, who can see the future? Even though it doesn’t make sense, weirder things have happened.
The Garbage King
When you walk around Belobog, you learn two things that might be the most important things you learn all day. First, the Trailblazer has a strange but cute interest in trash cans. Two, that a mystery person called “The Garbage King” is in charge of all the trash in Belobog.
If you think that checking out every trash can and dumpster you see might lead to a confrontation with The Garbage King or at least more signs about who they are, then you would be wrong. One of the few things that can be learned through a daily task is that The Garbage King is thought to be a great poet. This is a great piece of information, but it only makes me wonder more.
