It’s the third and last act of Larian Studios’ Baldur’s Gate 3, and these are the best magical rings to find and wear.
One great thing about Baldur’s Gate 3 is that you can change how you play to fit your own preferences. Players can find and wear a lot of different enchanted rings throughout the three acts. They are a very useful item to collect. An important reason for this is that each character has two ring spots, while most pieces of gear only have one.
In other words, the four characters in the present party can each wear eight rings. That being said, players don’t have to settle for number over quality. Some rings in Baldur’s Gate 3 are very strong. These are the best ones to find in the last act to get ready for the party’s final fights.
Shapeshifter’s Boon Ring
This ring is a bit sneaky because you can get it in any of the three acts of the game. To get it, you have to kill the person who currently owns it, who is pretty interesting, so it might be best to wait until the last act to get it. The person known as “Strange Ox” drops this ring. This ox seems to be more than meets the eye. They first met in the Druid Grove.
In The Last Light Inn, it can show that it has some very bad ideas about a cow. This creature can be found in Rivington in Act 3. It asks for help sneaking into the city proper, but players will have to kill it to get the ring in the end. This ring gives the person who wears it a +1 bonus on all checks made while changing forms or hiding.
Djinni Ring
It sounds like the Djinni Ring is stronger than it really is. Its name comes from the fact that Akabi, a djinni that lives at the Circus of the Last Days, owns it. However, it only lets the person who wears it cast the Mage Hand cantrip. But Akabi shows that this power isn’t something to be ashamed of by cheating at a “spin the wheel” game.
If the player steals the ring, they can find a much stronger ring, which is talked about further down the list. The ring itself may not be the strongest choice in Act 3. If players are ready to fight a djinni, Mage Hand is still a useful cantrip that they should take.
Ring Of Truthfulness
It can be hard to find this ring, but it’s worth getting. The new mindflayer who has been hiding in a windmill in Rivington has dropped this rare ring when it dies. Players shouldn’t have a hard time fighting the mindflayer because it’s brand new and needs brains badly.
The windmill is a little out of the way, though, and the door is locked, which makes it hard to find. The rare ring really does live up to its name; it gives its owner an advantage on insight checks. This can help you figure out what those more private characters are really thinking in storytelling.
Til Death Do Us Part
This ring is more likely to appear naturally for players who are working on the “Free the Artist” quest, but anyone with sticky fingers can get it. You can find Lady Jannath in her house, and this rare ring is hers.
If Oskar the artist has been saved, players should be careful exploring the house because it is visited by angry ghosts. It is possible to steal the ring from Lady Jannath, but it is not possible to buy it. It lets the person who wears it cast Beacon Of Hope, a third-level curse.
Ring Of Blink
This rare ring is in the hands of Gale’s loyal friend, Tara. This is the most likely way for players to find her and the ring: finish the “Find the Missing Letters” side quest that the couriers start. If you don’t want to get information from the cute carrier birds, you can find Tara on the roof of The Open Hand Temple. To get there, just climb up the bell tower.
People can get Tara to agree to let them take the Ring Of Blink and leave the pigeons alone if they are nice to her. This ring lets the person who wears it cast Blink, a strong level 3 spell that changes things.
Ring Of Feywild Sparks
This very rare ring is likely to be found by Snow Rider 3D players who are doing the “Find Vanra” or “Help The Hag Survivors” side quests, but they will have to beat a familiar enemy to get it. If you fight Auntie Ethel in the basement of The Blushing Mermaid, you can take this ring from her body.
For people who use wild magic, this ring is a lot of fun, even though it only does one thing. If the person wearing it has the Tides of Chaos feature turned on, every time they cast a spell, a crazy magic surge will happen. Let the chaos begin!
Burnished Ring
In Act 3, Raphael’s House of Hope, the Burnished Ring can be found in a very tricky spot. The players are lucky that they can find this very rare ring among the many powerful items they can find there. The majority of these things can be seen in Raphael’s collection, but the Burnished Ring is a little harder to find.
Hope, one of Raphael’s many suffering souls, has her own prison in the House Of Hope, which can be reached through a trap door. There are many horrors watching over her, including a few onlookers who are like miniature beholders. One of these people will drop the Burnished Ring, which lets the person who wears it cast Paralyzing Ray. As a player, you can use paralysis to hurt your opponents very effectively. This ring is well worth the risk to acquire.
Orphic Ring
It is ethically and physically hard to get the Orphic Ring because you have to kill Orpheus, who owns it. It is the Githyanki prince Orpheus who is stuck in the astral mirror. He is also the one who protects the party from the Absolute.
In some situations, like at the end of Act 2, killing Orpheus will cause a unique game over. However, players can kill him in other situations, like when they team up with The Emperor. If players loot Orpheus’s body, they can get the Orphic Ring. The person who wears this very rare ring can cast the very strong magic spell Confusion at level 5. If players are ready to give up the Githyanki prince, it’s worth having.
Band Of The Mystic Scoundrel
Do you remember the Djinni Ring? Getting the Band of the Mystic Scoundrel can be useful. There are two ways to beat Akabi the djinni at his own game: either distract him by changing the wheel or steal the ring he uses to cheat. But, like most djinni, Akabi doesn’t like it when people play tricks on him.
He sends the criminal to the woods of Chult. People who come here will have to stay away from the dinosaurs that live here, but there is a skeleton next to a backpack in the secret camp high above the dinosaur cave. The rare ring can be found in the bag. It lets players cast an enchantment or illusion spell as an extra action after an attack with a weapon. A very strong ring for characters with both magical and fighting skills.
Ring Of Regeneration
For those who have made it to Baldur’s Gate, this very rare ring can be bought from a reflection of either Lorroakan, the wizard who lives in the tower, or Rolan, the tiefling. As the name says, it gives the person who wears it 1d4 new hit points every turn.
An extra hit point can mean the difference between life and death, so don’t forget about this skill. An important Act 3 ring that everyone should have. It’s easy to get if players have extra gold or are willing to risk theft.
